Tea and Cake.

A spanking brand new concept store has popped up in Clapham North enticing Londoners to take up dress-making and accessorising to a whole new level.

The creation of a sewing cafe provides a free space to reinvent yourself whilst sampling some organic goodies and fine teas.

Sew Over It promotes what was once seen as an 'Uncool' secret hobby, likely to be a huge success in the capital where fashion is often homemade and outspoken. When we think of sewing we tend to think of stitching up a simple hemline but it is so much more than that, patch-working, quilting and embroidery.

Ever looking for an accessory with the perfect item in mind, but no matter how hard you look nothing seems suitable? Try making your own handbags, scarves, purses and make-up bags. As the sewing mentors at Sew Over It have, making waves in the realm of art, fashion and design.

Take opportunity next time you visit SW9, it may inspire you to become a freelance designer or simply more creative with the way you wear your clothes.

Love Love Love TV, for Summer.

Want to be on the pulse this Summer. Invest in some seriously chic applique from TV a cult Australian label, forming part of the Emerge capsule collection for Topshop. The Emerge initiative is an in-store boutique showcasing fashion forward collections from up-and-coming international talent.

With the brocade jeans from the AW 10 collection, TV manages to effortlessly combine sculpted graphic prints and florals without making it look like you've dived into a wardrobe mess.

TV design for a girl who is confident, women who are adventurous and I'm sure a few East London boys with bleached hair.
