We have to raise the consciousness. The only way artists can change the world is to raise the consciousness of the general populace. - Lawrence Ferlinghetti

Moni Lewandowski is inspired by beautiful things, a master of the ballpoint pen her drawings celebrate the diversity of human spirit. Her sketch forms a lively current, and subtly contrasts with the drawings subjects, with their expression of pain or dullness. We are left pondering about the people in the drawings, intricately formed; they appear to gingerly conceal intimate facets of their character. They are captivating creatures, breathtakingly beautiful yet delicately fragile.
